May National Tour

Hey friends,

We are in the process of booking a May tour with the lovely Jon Garcia and co. We will be promoting not only Alive in the Hot Spell but also a brand new split EP with Jon G.

Here is the tentative routing. If any of you live in any these fine cities let us know if you think there are any great bands we should play with. We can’t wait to get on the road and see everyone.

Charmparticles Video Television!

Greetings to all in Charm-ville. It is your humble guitar-er here to share some rad news-- a Charmparticles video is on its way to your tv, web browser, mobile phone, and if we can, we are going to broadcast it DIRECTLY into your brain!

We just got back from a couple days in NYC filming with Mallard Media, a stellar production company with all the right moves... Don't worry, I won't give you any spoilers, just some highlights/observations from the trip!

1. NYC is freaking amazing.
2. $1.50 Sabrett's hot dogs are simultaneously revolting AND delicious.
3. It is a rare treat to be able to tip a restroom attendant!
4. You're never more a rock star than when you are standing around watching a crew full of people work super hard and they won't let you lift a finger... until it's time to hit your mark, in which case 50 takes is in no way ENOUGH. :) Just kidding, Lambert.
5. Oregonians MUST either buckle up or take Xanax while riding in NYC taxis.
6. Actors are super troopers-- seriously, we are in awe of everything they did for the shoot! When you see it, know that Charmparticles love each and every person in the clip.
7. Trump Tower looks even more ridiculous in real life than it does on the tele.
8. Rockefeller Center looks huge on TV, but guess what? It AIN'T.
9. Oh yeah, something to look forward to: the video is for "Gold Plated Shot," so get your faces ready to get rocked!

We should be seeing rough edits within a couple of weeks, so hopefully the video will be invading you virally within a month! Stay tuned!

Ok, so I finally got around to choosing some photos from our CD Release party. Thanks so much to Brett Patterson for helping us out.

Seattle, Someday Lounge This Saturday and a mini-tour

Friday night we will be up in the lovely town of Seattle playing at the Skylark with our friends the Little Penguins.

We are playing with two awesome bands this Saturday at Someday Lounge: We're from Japan and the Stops (from Reno, NV). Sarah is almost back to 100% health after her accident involving a guitar amp and her back. We can't wait to play.

Next week we will be heading down south to Sacramento, Reno, and San Francisco. We hope to see you all there.
